The Waukesha County Historical Society and Museum developed a three- year comprehensive strategic plan, including ranked organizational priorities, goals, timelines, and metrics for accountability for use from 2011-2013. The consultant helped to focus meeting deliberations into key points and guided the organization’s team into making decisions. They were able to focus their leadership around what they truly valued, and are expected to take on a major organizational transformation with the guidance of this document. “This was a terrific experience for our team. Our Task force gained great insight into the process for selecting consultants, negotiating contracts, and monitoring progress. Additionally our entire Board learned how a thoughtful planning process can produce goals that truly reflect the best interests of the organization and its future. “ |
