This directory is provided by the Nonprofit Management Fund as a
resource for nonprofit organizations seeking basic information on
consultants and other technical assistance providers. The directory
is available online through this website.
It is important that applicants to the Nonprofit Management Fund
be aware of the limitations of this directory. Listing in the
resource bank is for informational purposes only; it does not constitute
an endorsement or recommendation of any consultant or firm.
The consultants who are included in the directory completed a profile
describing their organization and services, listed at least three
nonprofit client references, and included other background materials
with their profile. Nonprofit organizations applying to the Nonprofit
Management Funds are not restricted to the listings in this
directory and may seek assistance from other providers as well.
Do not assume that the listings are complete; individual profiles
will be updated on a periodic basis and new consultants will be
added regularly.
Consider the use of this directory as the first step in identifying
potential technical assistance providers, then use the individual
profiles as you narrow your search. Once you have chosen 3-5 possibilities,
contact each one to discuss your organization's needs and how the
consultant could be of assistance. The Fund strongly encourages
you to talk with other organizations which have used the consultant's
services, prior to making your final decision.
The information on technical assistance providers is organized into
several sections. First, you can search for a consultant by an individual's
or organization's name. You may also search for a list of consultants
by area of expertise or technical assistance category. As the following
list demonstrates, these categories are general; you must contact
the provider to understand the specialization, scope, and depth
of their expertise.
